Job Description

We are seeking a Material Handler/Tugger Operator to join our Fortune 500 team in North Charleston, South Carolina. As a Material Handler/Tugger Operator you will assist in supporting Boeing’s recycling effort. This is a labor intensive position with a lot of lifting empty boxes over your head, walking and standing. This is 2nd shift from 2PM-10:30PM and starts at $16 with weekly pay and benefits.

Overview and Qualifications

Pay starts at $16
Hours are 2PM-10:30PM and starts at $16 with weekly pay and benefits.
Gathering and sorting various types of material for recycling throughout the plant.
May be required to drive a tugger around the plant.
Working on the sorting line, sorting cardboard from other materials for recycling. The sorting line requires standing, walking and climbing stairs.
Work with another team member(s) breaking down and baling large cardboard boxes and baling plastic tray and plastic sheeting.
Must be able to multitask.
Receives and processes incoming and outgoing orders.
Verifies contents of orders against tickets or receipts.
Sorts packages according to appropriate distribution channels.
Pulls orders from the warehouse.
Maintains work area in a clean, orderly and safe condition.
Must be able to stand and lift up to 50 pounds.
