Mechanical Engineer ($99k-$120k; HVAC System Design -relo to CT) Description

Our client, a leader in designing energy-efficient HVAC equipment, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their team near New Haven, CT. This is an in-office position. Your key responsibility is to produce mechanical design layouts for estimating, fabricating, and installing heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration systems. Ideal candidates will have HVAC design and calculation experience and AutoCAD proficiency. Mechanical Engineer ($99k-$120k; HVAC System Design -relo to CT) Responsibilities

• Prepare drawings for fabrication of hydronic piping systems
• Conduct site surveys
• Size and layout all HVAC piping, valves, and specialties etc.
• Perform load calculations
• Evaluate contract documents
• Review project specifications for projects
• Partner with estimator on system layouts
• Collaborate with project managers to evaluate system design and installation
• Redesign system when necessary

Mechanical Engineer ($99k-$120k; HVAC System Design -relo to CT) Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent experience required
• 3+ years of HVAC design experience required
• AutoCAD experience required
• Ability to work onsite required
