SERVER – JOB DESCRIPTION

Server Responsibilities:

The Server is responsible for providing an exceptional dinking experience for all guests. The Server establishes a relationship with the guest ensuring a pleasurable dining experience. The Server reports directly to the General Manager.

Server duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Promptly greet guests as they are seated and take drink orders
• Thoroughly understand and be able to speak to all items on the menu
• Make menu recommendations to the customer
• Accurately account for all guest orders and special requests
• Ensure cleanliness of server stations
• Deliver food to guests promptly ensuring food is cooked to order and hot
• Thank guests for coming upon departure

Experience/Qualifications:

• Ability to multitask and remain calm and professional in a fast paced environment
• Solid Communication and interpersonal skills
• A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus
• Ability to work flexible shifts
• Ability to life up to 35 lbs. and to stand for long periods of time as well as walk, bend, stoop
• Ability to cross-train and work in different departments

Preferred skills:

• Server experience
• Indiana food handling certification
• Indiana license to sell/serve alcohol

Hours:

The Server is either a full time or part time position and hours will vary

Salary/Income:

The Server is a non-exempt, hourly position
