Class A CDL Dump Truck Driver- Asphalt Paving Company

Job duties will include:

Hauling material to and from Job Sites. ACPLM requires someone who is safety conscientious, dependable, stable, and hardworking.
Applicants must have at least three (3) years' verifiable experience loading, securing and hauling construction equipment, Pavers, Rollers, Skid Steers, Street Brooms, Loaders Excavators, as well as Material- Base, Dirt, Asphalt and Debris'.
Work may also require occasional labor and or equipment operating when needed to get a job done

Job Responsibilities for The Class A CDL Dump Truck Driver:

Load/unload heavy equipment on/off trailers: Paver, skids, roller, loaders, excavators, etc.
Drive Dump Truck With Trailer and Seal Rigs.
Verify the type of materials being transported and ensure proper weight restrictions.
Perform regular maintenance to ensure the truck is in operable working order.
Must clean the equipment, checking fluids and grease daily.
Promptly report any accidents, injuries, or mechanical faults to management.
Complete electronic pre/post trip DOT inspection reports
Comply with all DOT safety rules and regulations.
Assist in Mobilizations/Demobilizations as needed.
This position will include miscellaneous labor help on the job site.
Must be motivated and able to work independently.
Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions (hot, humid, cold, wet) required.

Qualifications for The Class A CDL Dump Truck Driver:

Must have at least three (3) years' experience loading heavy construction equipment.
Working knowledge of construction site safety, truck maintenance, and road safety regulations.
Must have a valid Class A CDL with a clean record.
Must be able to pass pre employment drug testing
Current medical card required.
Must be able to travel and be flexible and able to work days, nights, weekends as well as occasionally out of town.
High School Diploma or GED is a plus
OSHA Certifications a Plus.

Physical Demands/Work Environment for The Class A CDL Dump Truck Driver:

Required to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
Frequently will reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Regularly will lift-up to 10 pounds; Frequently will lift 25 pounds; Occasionally will lift up to 50 pounds.
