We are looking for a self-directed and motivated sales professional to join our team. The right candidate will learn the different facets of our Alarm Operations team, so he/she can begin to cultivate new opportunities. This team member must possess the ability to work independently and with a team to build strong community relationships, assist current customers with their integration needs, and have a passion for the organization to succeed. Communication is a key ingredient to success.

Essential Duties:
· Promote the sales of burglar alarm systems and extended warranty offerings.
· Utilize a consultative sales approach to upgrade and enhance the customer’s current security infrastructure.
· Identify and qualify new customers to increase the base of service customers.
· Perform warm and cold calls.
· Responsible for achieving the Sales Team’s account management goals by calling on existing contract customers.
· Attend in person and online meetings, training seminars, and consultations.
· Develop and maintain proficiency in system design and applications, proposal and sales software, and other platforms as assigned.
** Position has a base salary with opportunities for commission and bonuses.
Essential skills:
· Technical experience with security alarm systems or CCTV a plus.
· Ability to develop and execute prospecting and account plans.
· Proficiency in using a computer and Microsoft office and the internet.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong prospecting, qualifying, proposing, negotiating, and closing skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
· Be able to pass a routine drug test upon hire and at random; marijuana use is against company policy and is part of the drug testing procedures.
· Must have a ten-year clean driving record and a State of Alaska driver’s license.
· Pass a national background check, which includes employment history and criminal history check. Convictions related to felonies, assault, DUI/OUI, theft, assault, domestic violence etc make you ineligible for hiring.
