Security Guard (Weekend) at Safety Facility Services

Safety Facility Services is in search of a friendly and professional security guard to manage client and protective services for a commercial property in the Bronx area. We’re searching for an individual who can provide high-quality service to all guests and understands the worth of exceptional customer service and safety protocols.

Schedule:

• Saturday - Sunday afternoon and overnight shifts available

Pay Rate:

• $16/hr (Weekly pay, overtime pay rate when applicable)

Site Location:

• 510 Rosedale Ave Bronx, NY

Requirements:

• Must have an active NYS security license.
• Prior security guard experience is a plus!

Description:

• Maintain control of all keys. This includes logging the keys in and out.
• Announce all visitors to the staff and administrators. Keep all visitors at the front desk until permission is received from the school staff.
• Log in and secure all packages, deliveries, and other appropriate items at the designated area.
• Ensure that all visitors to the building are properly greeted, identified, and documented.
• Uphold and enforce all agency rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct patrols of the facility, noting all emergency lights, security devices, fire extinguishers, and other building systems and/or property in need of attention.
• Prepare incident report forms for all accidents, incidents, illegal or illicit activities, and or damage.
• Answer facility phones in a professional manner; keep a record of all activity engaged in the building clearly and articulately in log books
• Maintain a clean and pleasant environment.
• Log in and secure all packages, deliveries, and other appropriate items at the designated area.
