Mental Health Therapist - Pediatric Office (LPC, LPCC, LSW)

This Mental Health Therapist is located in a designated pediatric physician's office and provides behavioral health counseling services to children, teens, and families in coordination with their medical services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide individual counseling and case management services to clients referred by a pediatrician, delivered in the doctor's office
- Conduct mental health assessments and evaluations to establish appropriate treatment goals and objectives for clients
- Collaborate with clients to implement treatment plans
- Create progress notes in the electronic health record per current standards for content and timeliness
- Participate in clinical and administrative supervision as required
- Coordinate with pediatricians to provide integrated care
- Provide a welcoming atmosphere of trust, acceptance and hope for all clients, including respect for cultural beliefs and values
Qualifications:
- LPC, LPCC or LISW
- Experience providing therapy to children and families preferred
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently and to collaborate with a team
- Proficiency with Microsoft software; ability to learn and use electronic health record and other systems
