Title: Dental Assistant (EFDA) - Dr. Terry Hamblen D.M.D

Location: 2320 West Bay Dr. Largo, Florida 33770

Phone: 727 518-6000

Schedule: Monday to Thursday, approximately 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Start Date: May 2024 (Ideal for upcoming graduates or experienced assistants)

Dr. Terry Hamblen D.M.D is seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. We are a patient-centered practice committed to providing high-quality dental care. This is an excellent opportunity for a new graduate who is about to complete their education in May 2024 or an experienced dental assistant looking to join a dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays).
Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures.
Perform administrative and office tasks as needed (IE. order office supplies when needed).

Requirements:

Must have EFDA (Expanded Functions Dental Assistant) certification.
Recent graduates (May 2024) or individuals with previous experience working as a Dental Assistant in a dental office are encouraged to apply.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
