Pool Service Technician

Reporting to the service foreman, the service technician will be responsible for performing maintenance, installation, diagnostics, and troubleshooting, ensuring the highest quality of customer service and operational efficiency. This role requires technical expertise, precision, and a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Conduct routine maintenance and service checks to ensure the proper functioning of swimming pool equipment.
Diagnose and repair pool equipment, including pumps, filters, heaters, and chemical feed systems.
Install new pool equipment and perform system upgrades as required.
Maintain accurate records of all service activities and customer interactions.
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures and ensure a clean and safe working environment.
Provide excellent customer service, while offering clear explanations to clients.
Efficiently manage time and schedule to ensure timely arrivals and service delivery.
Track all inventory and tools required for daily tasks.
Participate in training and development opportunities to stay current with industry standards and technology.
Follow up with customers to confirm satisfaction and resolve any subsequent issues, should they arise.
Assist with emergency repairs or services as needed.
Essential Qualifications
At least two years of experience in a technical service role, ideally related to swimming pool maintenance or similar fields.
Strong familiarity with industry-standard equipment and troubleshooting techniques.
Proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems.
Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.
Strong customer service skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with homeowners and team members.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, detail-oriented, and committed quality and safety.
