Job Description

This well-established Internal Medicine practice is seeking a full-time, licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its team. This is a thriving solo-physician practice with a large patient base. The successful candidate must be willing to work independently in a clinical setting, as well as alongside the physician. Prior experience is not required - we are open to training a new graduate.

We are dedicated to providing our patients with the most comprehensive healthcare possible and treat our patients like family. Therefore, we are seeking a mid-level practitioner who embodies a Healers Heart demonstrating genuine care and commitment to continuous learning and growth. As part of our team, mid-level practitioners focus on both Internal and Regenerative Medicine, while also offering a diverse range of services, such as hormone optimization, PRP treatment, Botox, Votiva, microneedling and more.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Assess patients needs, order or perform tests, interpret results and offer diagnosis and education; order prescriptions and referrals as needed
  • Communicate with collaborating physician regarding patient care; assist the physician
  • Chart visit notes in an electronic medical record in a timely fashion

The position is structured as follows:

  • Full-time
  • Monday Friday, 8 a.m. to 500 p.m.
  • NO evening or weekend clinic hours

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Current Texas NP or PA License
  • Unencumbered DEA License (withing 30 days of hire)
  • ACLS/BLS Certification
  • Self-motivated, directed, flexible and a team player
  • Outgoing and engaging personality
  • Energetic and enthusiastic about career growth and development
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to develop and implement comprehensive outcomes-based patient treatment plans
  • Ability to counsel patients concerning medical and psychological/psychiatric conditions, treatment plans, and behavior modification

Dr. Torres graduated from the University of Texas Medical School in 1986. He completed his internship and residency at the Methodist Dallas Medical Center. As a Board-Certified physician and having achieved the esteemed Fellowship in the American College of Physicians, Dr. Torres focuses on a thorough approach and philosophy of treating the whole patient to help reduce the fragmentation of healthcare his patients would otherwise need.

He is considered a cutting edge physician and holds certifications in Age Management, Hormonal Optimization and numerous other skills. Highly regarded as an Internist, he also is an expert at promoting Wellness Programs to help his patients have an optimal life experience. Dr. Torres currently serves his patients at his private practice in Plano, Texas, and has been rated 5 stars by patients who applaud his compassion and expertise.
