Job Title: Patient Care Assistant

Location: Alma, NE

Job Type: Full-time nights/evenings

8 or 12 hour shifts available

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Patient Care Assistant to join our team. The Patient Care Assistant will be responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care activities under direct supervision. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact with patients and their families, completing patient registration, operating the switchboard, and assisting patients and their families as needed.

Responsibilities:

•Assist patients with activities of daily living, providing for personal care, comfort, and assistance as necessary

•Complete patient registration and operate the switchboard

•Provide direct and indirect patient care activities under direct supervision

•Assist patients and their families as needed

•Maintain a clean and safe patient environment

•Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

•High School Diploma or equivalent

•Completion of a State of Nebraska approved Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program preferred

•Previous clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred

•Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire or within 90 days

•CNA required upon hire or within 90 days
