POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Huge opportunity to receive instant realtor referrals and relationships Day 1. Seeking an experienced loan officer to take over a private offsite office that is located inside of a high volume local real estate firm. It will require that the loan officer is available 50% of the work week to support and manage relationships with the agents that work within the real estate firm. Also depending on the loan officers preference he/she will receive flexibility to be able to work remotely from home for the other half of the week. Mortgage Loan Officer will be responsible for managing the mortgage process from origination to closing. You will work side-by-side with a skilled processor and Loan Officer Assistant to obtain underwriting conditions. Must have in-depth knowledge of calculating income, analyzing credit, and all mainstream mortgage programs. Must also have a general understanding of typical state/federal compliance laws. Preferred candidates should have at least 2 years of mortgage loan origination experience and State NMLS License: plus have been working as an active loan officer over the most recent 12 months.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Strong knowledge of conforming, non-conforming, and government Mortgage products/programs
• Fantastic customer service and communication skills
• Proven experience as a Loan Officer in the Mortgage Industry (at least 2 years experienced preferred)
• Proficient knowledge of navigating MS Office Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook), using Loan Officer System
• Have an active book of business of previous and current clients
• Active NMLS state License is required also must have been working as a loan officer consistently during the past 12 months
• Familiarity with Federal, regulatory laws and regulations governing mortgage lending
• Strong organizational and time management skills
