We're looking for a Registered Nurse, working in the Healthcare Systems & Services industry in Sacramento, California, United States.
- Correctly calculate the dosage and administer it safely to the patient.
- Perform charting and take inventory.
- Assess an IV site.
- Perform priming and hanging a primary IV bag.
- Prepare and hang a secondary IV bag.
- Calculate IV rates.
- Monitor the effectiveness of IV therapy.
- Discontinue a peripheral IV.
- Work hyperbaric & cryotherapy chambers – Monitor the machine.
- Interact with patient, client and team members in an autonomous responsible, professional and ethical manner.
- BLS
- Active State license
- ICU/ER experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 3 years as an RN
- ICU and ER experience
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal needed
- Must be flexible, reliable and demonstrate sound judgment and initiative
