We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our growing practice. Candidates must have at least one year of dental assisting and front desk experience. You will greet patients, prepare exam rooms, and help the dentist during patient examinations and other dental procedures. Between patients, you will clean exam rooms and replenish supplies. This is a dual position, on down times you will be calling Patients to confirm and to fill the schedule, calling insurances for eligibility and checking on claims and collecting payments.
Hours for this position are Monday 9-5, Wednesday 9-7, Thursday 9-5
Experience:
1+ years of dental assisting experience
X-ray certification is a plus
Excellent understanding of dental hygiene procedures
Knowledge of aseptic and sterilization techniques
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge in Dentrix
Knowledge with Insurance
Attention to detail
