Expansion Coordinator

As an Expansion Coordinator for AoPS Academy, you will play a critical role in helping AoPS Academy grow and reach more students. In this role, you will assist the Expansion and Operations Directors in launching new Academy campuses, and supporting the facilities management throughout the lifecycle of leased locations.

The Expansion Coordinator:

• Assists with new site acquisition in an administrative capacity, including creating site survey documentation for stakeholder review, creating and maintaining an organizational system for legal agreements, and preparing permit application documents under the guidance of the Expansion Director.
• Project manages new campus launch activities, working closely with campus staff, other departments both within and outside of the broader Academy team, and external vendors as appropriate.
• Develops, maintains, and improves operations, systems, processes, workflows, and documentation for facility openings and maintenance, including budgeting and expense tracking.
• Serves as national-level support for all facilities management and maintenance tasks at AoPS Academy campuses.
• Assists with other operational demands as needed, including customer and campus support.
• Completes other tasks and responsibilities, as assigned.

The ideal candidate has:

• Prior operational and/or project management experience
• Business or other background to support data evaluation and operational problem solving
• Exceptional organizational and priority management skills
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally and manage both internal and external stakeholders
• Interest or experience in education or edtech is a plus
• Experience in commercial real estate, construction, contractor, and/or facilities management preferred
