Job Description

This individual will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional business solutions and tax compliance services to clients in multiple industries. This isnt your average public accounting gig. Responsibilities/Duties:

Business solutions:

Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and challenges

Develop customized solutions to address clients' financial and operational goals

Provide strategic advice on business expansion, mergers and acquisitions, and other growth opportunities

Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive company and client information

Financial Management:

Oversee all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting

Manage cash flow, investments, and financial reporting

Analyze financial data to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities

Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations

Tax Compliance:

Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations

Prepare, review, and file tax returns, including but not limited to corporate, individual, and partnership returns

Provide guidance on tax planning and optimization strategies for clients

Leadership:

Participate in and grow to lead team meetings while actively engaging in decision-making processes

Coach junior team members in an ongoing basis to ensure the long-term growth and success of individuals and the company

Work closely alongside the company Principal to fully understand the companys vision, direction, and culture

Engage in professional development regularly while staying abreast of industry trends and regulations

Must possess excellent communication skills and exchange information with others accurately

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

Exceptional organization in managing time with the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, with a keen attention to detail, and meet strict deadlines while working independently or with a team

Apply critical thinking skills to solve complex problems while supporting the growth of a team

Required Skills, Education and Experience:

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation, required

Bachelor's degree in related field, required

Private accounting and public accounting experience, preferred

Financial management, tax planning, compliance, TPT, and payroll tax experience, required

Experience with leading and motivating teams, required

Demonstrated track record of driving business growth, required

Experience in succession planning and leadership development, preferred

Proficient in QuickBooks Desktop and Online, required

Proficient in Lacerte and MS Office Suite, required

Supervisory responsibilities:None
