FINANCIAL ANALYST

Position Title: Financial Analyst

Reports To: Director, Finance & Accounting

Summary:

The Financial Analyst will be a key member of Sunless, Inc.’s Finance team providing valuable insight to senior leadership regarding the financial performance of the organization.

Essential Functions:

• Perform monthly financial analysis of customer, brand, category, and item profitability
• Analyze and report daily/weekly sales activity
• Analyze and publish dashboard metrics to senior management
• Create, maintain, and produce daily/weekly/monthly financial and operational reports and packages
• Participate in the monthly accounting close and reporting process including month-end accrual entries and maintenance of foreign exchange tables
• Prepares various analyses for board meetings, investor presentations and product category overviews
• Interact with external auditors during the annual audit process
• Assist the annual financial budget and periodic financial forecasts
• Other job responsibilities as assigned

Skills/Characteristics Needed for Success:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance
• Strong Excel skills and experience with Power BI and an ERP system is required
• Microsoft Dynamics GP experience preferred
• Two or more years of manufacturing experience is preferred
• 3 – 5 years of experience in financial accounting, cost accounting, budgeting and product pricing required
• Successful communication with cross functional teams and manufacturing personnel, as well as executive management

Physical Requirements:

The person in this position normally works in an office environment and must be able to remain stationary majority of the day behind a desk utilizing a PC and telephone. The position requires periodic trips into the plant and occasionally moving up to 20 pounds.
