Machine Operator (Slitter Machine)

This is a temp-to-hire opportunity, 1st shift, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, MON-FRI. Starting pay is $18-$20/HR based on experience. Must be willing to take a drug test and background check.

Job Duties:

As a Machine Operator, you'll be at the forefront of the production process, ensuring the smooth operation of machines and maintaining the highest quality standards. Your key duties will include:

• Utilize your experience to set up, monitor, and adjust production machines, guaranteeing optimal output.

• Ensure that finished products meet the company's exacting standards by carefully inspecting and measuring them.

• Contribute to the efficient workflow by accurately picking and pulling materials, maintaining a well-organized inventory.

• Display your computer skills while working with various software applications to streamline operations.

• Demonstrate your commitment to safety and compliance by strictly adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

Necessary Experience:

• A minimum of 2 years' experience as a machine operator, preferably with press or slitter experience.

• Computer skills are essential to excel in this role.

• Your ability to read a tape measure and basic math skills will be crucial to success.

• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs and comfortably stand throughout an 8-hour shift.

• Prior experience with sit-down forklifts is desirable.
