Tool and Die Maker

Customer Driven Staffing with locations in Florida, North Carolina, Tenessee and Kansas, is currently hiring Tool and Die Maker for the Orlando Area:

APPLICANTS MUST HAVE ALL TOOLS ASSOCIATED TO TOOL AND DIE REPAIR

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build and repair tools for press/machine use.
• Must be able to troubleshoot, interpret, repair and rebuild all styles of dies to include blank, draw, progressive and secondary forming dies.
• Repair dies.
• Flat work and surface grinding.
• Assemble tools.
• Must perform complex layout work.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

-Machine operator or production experience strongly preferred

-Must have thorough working knowledge of shop math

-Must be able to interpret blueprints and GD&T

-Manual machining knowledge, to include Bridgeport surface grinding, engine lathe,

-Willing to wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE)

-Ability to read English as required for interpreting job cards and prints
-Some heavy lifting involved.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Tools, fixtures, gages, assemblies, fabrication: 5 years (Required)
• Manual Machining: 5 years (Required)
• Blueprint reading: 5 years (Required)
• Build Metal Tool and Dies: 5 years (Required)
• Build Prog/Draw Die: 5 years (Required)
• GD&T: 5 years (Preferred)
