About Us:

AAA Heating & Air Conditioning has been locally owned and operated since 1989. We focus mainly on residential retrofit with some light commercial as well. We provide maintenance, service, installation, duct renovation, duct cleaning, and Aeroseal for our customers' heating and cooling systems.

About the Maintenance Training Program:

AAA Heating & Air Conditioning is looking for strong candidates for our Technician Training Program. We are committed to creating a skilled work force in the HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) field through our program. Demand for skilled HVAC technicians is high, and we like to train our technicians from the ground up to make sure you are getting the proper training and education. We are currently accepting applications to fill our open Entry Level Maintenance Technician positions.

What does a Preventative Maintenance Technician do?

You will be traveling to customer's homes and performing tune ups on their heating or cooling systems. We find that this is a perfect fit for people who have sales or communication backgrounds because you can relate to our customers well and are able to educate them on their furnaces. In general, most tune ups include testing and cleaning the equipment, cleaning the filters, inspecting the homes duct systems, and assisting homeowners with any challenges they have been experiencing with the HVAC in their home.

How does being a Preventative Maintenance Technician benefit you?

• You'll earn while you learn. You don't need to pay for vocational training, saving you $10,000-20,000! Instead, we pay you to learn on the job!
• You are learning a skilled trade that will allow you to be hired on at any HVAC company across the nation (but obviously we want you to stay with us still).

• You will have direct opportunity to transition into any one of our HVAC Departments including our service diagnostic and repair department (diagnosing and repairing equipment) HVAC Installation department (Installation of HVAC products), Electrical, Sales or, like many others, stay in our Preventative Maintenance department where we have several technicians making WELL over $100k a year!

Requirements:

• Mechanical aptitude - Experience working with basic hand tools is very helpful as well as being someone who doesn't struggle to understand how mechanical/electrical components work.
• STRONG COMMUNICATION SKILLS with the ability to present your findings to customers and sell needed solutions to their HVAC challenges. (Someone who struggles communicating with people will not succeed in this position)
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Clean driving record

Skills and traits that will help you succeed in this position:

• Strong work ethic
• Background sales or other fields that require strong communication skills
• Be comfortable with and physically able to climb ladders, work in tight spaces and in all weather conditions
• Comfortable using technology, specifically iPads
• Detailed and accurate on paperwork
• Desire to go above and beyond expectations for customers

Compensation and Benefits:

• Base Training Pay Rate starts at $20-22/hour
