Job Description

Summary

We are seeking an operations and fulfilment orientated Logistics Manager to manage U.S. 3PL relationships, fulfillment, transportation, and import processes. Critical to the success of this role is the ability to plan and execute FBA and FBM orders, and the ability to achieve defined performance goals. In this role, you'll drive operational excellence in cost, speed, and service, while actively participating in projects that shape our logistics network. You'll create and manage reports to oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless communication with global partners and top-tier organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the development and execution of the logistics, transportation plan, driving continual improvement to
  • optimize performance, cost and service level.
  • Responsible for the management of third-party logistics (3PL) provider (s) to include ERP systems data access and SLA measurement and reporting.
  • Develop, implement, update, track and monitor detailed cost sheets for all logistics, transportation, and fulfillment activities.
  • Proactively monitor and track shipments, provide daily, weekly monthly updates and reports on merchandise status
  • Troubleshooting potential issues, implement preventive/corrective actions and identify opportunities for process enhancement.
  • Responsible for the international trade compliance program to include research, development, documentation, implementation, audit, and continual improvement.
  • Manage transactions across various systems, including G-suite, NetSuite, Excel, Amazon Seller Central, and 3PL’s WMS’s.
  • Actively manages relationships with third-party logistics providers and makes decisions for the distribution network to improve service, cost, and operational excellence.
  • Partner and actively engage with logistics and 3PL’s, to oversee related tasks and activities from order submission, 3PL fulfillment status, on time shipping and arrival at the destination. Provide regular updates per need basis on all ongoing activities and projects.
  • Performs data analysis related to performance of customer orders, transportation, fulfilment, and warehousing to monitor and measure productivity, capacity, SLA adherence, schedule attainment and costs.
  • Maintains documentation and copies in accordance with company policies, streamlining supply chain operations and reporting.
  • Foster relationships with suppliers, vendors, and logistics service providers, negotiating contracts when necessary.
  • Manage s relationships with third-party logistics providers and make decisions for the distribution network to improve service, cost, and operational excellence.
  • Reviews and approves/rejects and codes invoices from 3PL’s and logistics partners to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Complies with all legal and policy requirements related to employment practices; supports and executes the global legal and intellectual property compliance policy and process to ensure the protection and growth of the assets of the company.
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of economical and efficient distribution and transportation services to reduce cost while improving customer service.
  • Identifies opportunities to reduce transportation and warehousing costs, working together with 3PL and logistics partners to implement best practices across our network.
  • In partnership with inventory manager, monitors inventory levels and stock management, ensuring timely deliveries to customers and optimized space utilization at 3PL’s.
  • Provides monthly and quarterly forecast to 3PLs as to incoming volumes, storage volume and outbound projections.

What You Bring to the Party:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in international logistics and warehouse management and systems.
  • Experience in eCommerce space Fulfillment
  • Ability to execute, influence, and drive decisions with 3rd parties.
  • Hungry to learn and love seeking out new problems to analyze methodically.
  • A confident voice in stressful situations. Demonstrated excellent business writing and communication skills.
  • Self-directed and focused on finding resourceful ways to deliver on projects and tasks consistently.
  • Passion for excellence – Thrives in fast-paced environments – Exceptionally poised under pressure.
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems and supply chain software is preferred.
