X-Ray/Mammography Tech

Thorek Memorial Hospital is a stable community hospital with its roots in Chicago for over 100 years. We are currently seeking a Full time Radiologic Technologist to join our growing hospital.

The responsibilities of this position will include but not limited to the following:

• Perform X-ray and portable X-rays
• Perform Fluoroscopic procedures (Esophogram, Upper GI, Small Bowel Series and Lower GI)
• Perform surgery procedures using GE OEC 9800 C-arm unit, preferred
• Performs routine and advanced mammography procedures within the scope defined by regulatory and departmental standards under the guidance of the Lead Mammography Technologist
• Responsible for reporting and identifying safety issues such as hazardous environments (i.e. damaged floors/walls/ceiling tiles/unsecured areas) and medical errors, etc

Job Requirements:

• ARRT (R) required
• ARRT (M) required
• IEMA accreditation required
• CPR certification required
• Experience with Hologic Multicare Platinum Table preferred
• Experience with Selenia Unit preferred
• Experience with DR (Digital Radiology) preferred
