OPENING IN WATER PLANT OPERATOR/DPW MOTOR EQUIPMENT OPERATOR

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND/OR REQUIREMENTS:
1. A 2A water license is required or able to be obtained after working in the water department
for one year. Village will pay for training and licensing.
2. Possession of a valid New York State Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or the ability to
obtain license within 90 days from date of hire.
3. Will be subject to drug and alcohol testing per federal regulations
4. One-year experience in the operation of light and medium motor equipment, including
tractors and dump trucks used in the construction and repair of roads and related public
works activities.
5. Work week will be subject Sunday thru Thursday 6am-2:30pm unless changed by
Supervisor. There will be overtime.
