MANUFACTURING TECHNICIAN I

MEDTHERM, part of the Raptor Scientific family, a Global Aerospace & Defense Test and Measurement Company, is seeking a full-time motivated Manufacturing Technician with strength in electronics to join their team. As a member of our Production Team, the primary focus of this role is to be responsible for the manufacture and assembly of products including routine electronics packaging, assembly, and testing duties.

Hours: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assembling and testing of electronic components and assemblies.
• Assist with daily manufacturing duties, system build-up, integration, and testing.
• Support system-level troubleshooting.
• Assist with technical documentation.
• Assist with other daily duties as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

• 0-3 years experience in assembly and packaging of electronic components, including chassis build-up and test.
• Basic knowledge of electronics concepts, soldering, crimping techniques, and cable assembly or desire to develop.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the electronics field.
• Electronic troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in the use of multi-meters.
• Quick learning ability and strong productive work ethic.
• Ability to read schematic diagrams a plus.
• Mechanical abilities to include the use of power hand tools/equipment.
• Basic computer skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexible and adaptable to meet changing needs within the department.
• Consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Physical ability to lift, push, or pull up to 40 pounds or assist in lifting large items.
• The ability to work on small component assembly using a microscope is a big plus.
