Environmental Analyst

Johnson Service Group is looking for an Analyst to work for one of our Clients in San Jose. This person would assist with the development of a centralized repository of data and information pertaining to land rights and land obligations.

Responsibilities:

• Perform research efforts to identify and capture data and information on Company assets (ex: bridges and culverts) to assist with asset management and operations and maintenance planning.
• Upload and index documents into Client’s Enterprise Content Management (ECM) system.
• Assist with the integration of Client’s ECM and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) applications.
• Assist with the development and implementation of strategies to integrate processes amongst multiple business areas.
• Assist with developing business and technology solutions to consolidate asset data and make that information available to operations staff.

Qualifications:

• Practices of researching, evaluating research findings, summarizing data, and preparing written reports and correspondence.
• Familiarity and/or ability to learn basic functions of GIS applications (ex: ArcGis).
• Prepare clear and concise reports, correspondence, and other written materials.
• Organize and prioritize multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner.
• Ability to organize own work, set priorities, and meet time deadlines.
• Equivalent to an Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in business administration or a related field. Directly related experience may be substituted for the college requirement based on one and one-half years of experience for one year of education to a maximum of two years.
• Three (3) years of experience handling a variety of administrative support and technical duties.
