We are excited to announce that we are looking for a Full-Time Accountant at our Corporate office in West long Branch New Jersey
The Accountant responsibilities are
1. Monthly Reconciliations:
- Main concentration is cash reconciliations from bank to ledger with multiple bank accounts and high-volume transactions, in accordance with GAAP accrual accounting principles.
- Low level balance sheet reconciliations, such as payroll accruals for salaries, benefits, and other compensation line items.
- Accounting for major transactions throughout the month that impact month-end reporting
- Working in our financial reporting system – Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Not required to have experience in the system but open/prepared to learn.
2. Cash Management:
- Would handle the set up of all ACH and Wire Transfers from all bank accounts. Either moving money between accounts or payment of invoices.
- Responsible for internal cash forecasts and projections.
- Working with Financial Planning and Analysis team and Revenue Management Cycle departments to collaborate on the information.
- Reconciling collections from new acquisitions for weekly and monthly sweeps.
- Facilitating the flow of funds related to new acquisitions.
- Working with our attorneys for information and confirming proper banking information for closure of practice(s).
- Calculation and funding of any outside bank accounts for new acquisitions payroll.
3. Tax Responsibilities:
- Working with the Controller on tax distributions in tandem with the 3rd party CPA firm.
- Facilitating the transmission of K-1’s to all partners along with payments that were made.
- Ownership over tax notices and facilitating information to 3rdparty CPA firm, when appropriate.
- This includes entity notices along with payroll/941 notices
4. Cross-Department Collaboration:
- Working with the FP&A team on month-end reconciliations and expense analysis
- Having communications with the physicians/practice administrators as it relates to their financial information and any processes that are facilitated through them.
- Working with the RCM department on cash deposit reconciliations and payment tracing.
The Accountant must have the following qualifications and experience:
- Must have a College Degree in Accounting
- Must have two years of experience in Accounting
