Job Description

Great opening for an experienced CMD to be a Lead Dosimetrist for a multi-office Oncology practice in Northern, VA.

Experience you’ll need: Certified Medical Dosimetrist/CMD, 5+ years of Dosimetry experience, some supervisory experience a plus, Bachelor’s Degree

Why this job:

Established practice – Onsite position
You’ll supervise the dosimetry staff, including scheduling coverage for multiple clinics and directing planning goals.
Treatment Planning and organize clinical treatment trials and procedures.
Responsible for the ongoing education of new dosimetrists and assists in the oversight of the technical development and abilities of the radiation therapists.
Shared responsibility for Quality Assurance programs on patient plans for Special Procedures (to include but not limited to IMRT, SRS, Brachytherapy), electron beam cutout factor measurements and in-vivo dosimetry investigations and follow-up.
