Additive Manufacturing Technician

Night Shift

*Please note that training will be during day shift and then move to nights*

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• 3D Printer set-up (filling and mixing resin cassettes, loading and unloading powder carts, scheduling and sending prints to printers)
• Cleaning, washing, and preparing parts for thermal processing Follow standard operating procedures to meet safety and quality needs Performing daily machine maintenance duties; cleaning, scheduled preventative maintenance, and general repairs.
• Secondary Processing (media blasting, sanding, and general assembly work). General facility maintenance, including following 6s processes to maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Collaborating with the Manufacturing Engineering and Quality teams to ensure customer requirements are met Occasional clerical duties such as managing inventory or packaging parts
• Provide additional support for night crew members
• Will help meet weekly metric goals including but not limited to: printer utilization, on time delivery, quality, revenue
• Help establish a night time routine at our new Itasca facility

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE:

• Prior 3D printing or manufacturing experience/knowledge (a plus but not required)
• Appreciation for building and working with materials hands on (required)
• Prior experience using inspection and metrology tools/equipment (preferred, not required)
• Detail oriented and interested in learning more about new manufacturing technologies
• Ready to dive in and work on all things occurring in the production facility any given day
• Flexible timing and able to work independently
• Thrives in a fast pace and adaptable environment

This full-time role requires 40+ hours of work (including overtime options).
