ARDMS Echo / EKG Technologist - Full Time

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated EKG/Echo Technician to join our cardiology team. As an integral member of our healthcare staff, you will be responsible for performing electrocardiogram (EKG) and echocardiogram (echo) procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and contribute to the delivery of high-quality cardiac care.

Echo Tech Job Description:

The Echo Tech performs quality echocardiographic studies as ordered by the physicians as well as the performance of all other non-invasive cardiac procedures within the Cardiology Department.

Responsibilities for an Echo / EKG Tech:

• Perform electrocardiogram (EKG) procedures to record and analyze the electrical activity of patients' hearts.
• Conduct echocardiogram (echo) studies to create detailed images of the heart's structure and function using ultrasound technology.
• Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to review test results, provide preliminary interpretations, and assist in patient management.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the examination.

Echo Technologist Qualifications:

• Current ARDMS Certification with RDCS in Echocardiography.
• High School graduate or equivalent and AAS degree.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Experience preferred.
