1 to 1 Tutoring is the largest and fastest-growing tutoring company in Arizona. We offer tutoring before, during, and after school. We have active contracts with ADE, Districts, Charter Schools, and Private Schools throughout the Metro-Phoenix area to provide school-based intervention services.

We are currently working on filling each Phoenix Union High School site with math tutors for the rest of this school year, summer, and next school year. 

The Job:

• District: Phoenix Union High Schools 
• You will work in one of the available High School locations: Alhambra, Trevor Browne, Camelback, Central, Chavez, Fairfax, Hayden, Maryvale, North, and South Mountain. 
• Schedule: Monday-Friday; 8:00 am-3:00 pm
• You will tutor grades 9-12
• Subjects Needed- Math, Sciences, ELA, ELD, Social Studies, and History.
• Small Group or 1:1
• Push-in
• $30/hr
• W2
• Pay twice a month

Job Duties:

• Instruct in small groups.
• Maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans provided for you by 1 to 1 Tutoring.
• Maintain consistent communication with company supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and educate students in a classroom setting
• Establish academic goals and milestones with students

​Qualifications:

• Teacher Certification (Preferred)
• Degree (Required)
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card (Required)
• Previous experience in teaching, tutoring, or other related fields (Required)
• Ability to build rapport with students
• Sufficient knowledge of core educational subjects
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
