Who You Are:

Must have equipment operating experience. A dependable team player with good communication skills. You must be safety conscious, with good judgement and common sense. Must be professional with others and foster a positive team environment.

What you will be doing:

The Equipment Operator is responsible for safe and efficient operation of equipment including Loaders, Excavators, Yard Dump Trucks and other various pieces of equipment. A Commercial Driver’s License is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities of the job:

• Safe operation of equipment
• Proper cleaning of equipment inside and outside
• Perform pre and post trip inspections
• Prepare Daily Inspection Reports
• Weekly and general vehicle maintenance (as per the Vehicle Maintenance Schedule)
• Plant/Yard maintenance and housekeeping duties as assigned
• Environmentally responsible always
• Attends and participates in weekly plant safety huddles
• Follows MSHA, EPA and all other applicable regulations
• Other duties and tasks as directed

Requirements of this job:

• Must maneuver in and out of equipment safely. Operating all equipment controls safely and accurately.
• Perform multiple tasks of sustained viewing activity while operating equipment and maneuvering controls.
• Must lift or maneuver up to 75lbs. multiple times throughout the workday.
• Must perform manual labor throughout the workday.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must have a valid driver’s license. A commercial Driver’s License is preferred.
