Armed Security Officer in Houston 77013

We are hiring a professional security officer for a multifamily (apartment) site in 77013 to perform vehicle and foot patrol. The role is part-time. Shifts available: Overnight Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 8 pm- 4 am or 10 pm to 6 am for a total of 24 hours. $17.00 per hour.

Responsibilities:

- Perform access controls at gates.
- Foot patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a presence.
- Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people on the property.
- Secure all exits, doors, and windows after the end of operations.
- Provide assistance to people in need.
- Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences.

Requirements:

- Level III Commssioned Texas Security Certification is required or registered as a Security Guard in Texas DPS

- Previous experience in Security preferred

- Strong customer service
- Tech-savvy with experience in electronic report writing.
- Excellent surveillance and observation skills
- Must have reliable transportation and a working smart phone.
