Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)


Location: Medford, MA


We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team and contribute to the well-being of our patients/residents.


Job Summary:

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will play a crucial role in providing direct care and assistance to patients/residents under the supervision of registered nurses (RNs) or licensed practical nurses (LPNs). Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily activities, monitoring patients' conditions, and ensuring their comfort and safety.


Responsibilities:

*Provide direct patient care, including assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, and feeding as needed.

*Assist patients/residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure their comfort and prevent pressure ulcers.

*Monitor patients' vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration, and report any changes or abnormalities to the nursing staff.

*Assist in the implementation of care plans developed by registered nurses (RNs) or licensed practical nurses (LPNs) to meet patients' individual needs.

*Observe patients' behavior and report any concerns or changes in mental status to the nursing team.

*Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients/residents, including ensuring proper hygiene and infection control measures.

*Document patient care activities, observations, and interactions accurately and in a timely manner.

*Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to provide information, support, and assistance as needed.

*Participate in training and continuing education programs to enhance knowledge and skills in patient care and healthcare practices.

*Adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulations related to patient care, safety, and confidentiality.


Qualifications:

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.

Current CPR certification.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

Physical ability to lift, move, and assist patients as required.

Qualifications:

Graduated from an accredited practical nursing program.

Current LPN licensure in the state of PA.

Qualifications:
