Our Drivers are responsible for a broad range of daily activities described below. The ideal candidate will be focused on safety and production. He or she will have strong organizational skills, be able to work in a sometimes-stressful environment, follow company and facility policies and procedures, and always keep customer service at the front of everything.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain Clean Uniforms

Must wear BTDT Logo Shirt and approved pants/shorts.

Always maintain a clean and presentable appearance

Safety gear as required – included but not limited to hard toe boots, hard hat, high visibility vest or shirt.

Truck Maintenance

Daily truck cleans out of cab.

Regular washing of Truck(s)

Fueling of trucks before end of day

Truck Safety Checklist completed daily, and deficiencies reported accurately through the Samsara app.

Truck supply checks and updates or report to management via Samsara, replenish when needed.

Dumpster Maintenance

Report any damaged or missing boards and dumpster damage or other issues.

Check greasing and cleaning of dumpsters.

Dumpsters washed inside and out as needed.

Recording Daily Activities

Utilize Bin Tracker to log activity & complete details for each run.

Take pictures of all deliveries. Take other pictures as necessary. Upload all pictures to Bin Tracker

Report any traffic, equipment, or property incidents to office.

Marketing & Sales

The truck and dumpsters are a moving billboard.

Smile and always be courteous.

Give business cards/marketing material to any potential customers you see, I.e., contractors doing a job in a neighborhood you’re delivering a dumpster to, contractor at the gas station etc.

Participate in sales activities, trade shows, etc. if requested.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

* Must be able to use a smartphone and be able to work Bin Tracker website application.

* Must be able to sit in a truck for long periods of time.

* Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.

* Must be able to follow GPS & Map directions.

* Must be able to safely tarp dumpsters appropriately.

* Must be able to regularly get in and out of the truck, get up and down off dumpsters, and perform duties safely.
