Washington Alarm, the leader in Seattle for full-service alarm systems is currently looking for Central Station Supervisor interested in a career with a growing company.

 

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for training, supplementing and supervising Central Station Dispatchers in their duties; documenting, updating and implementing all Central Station processes, procedures and tasks; supporting and assisting the Central Station Manager with administrative duties pertaining to the functions of operating the Central Station; interfacing with other Washington Alarm employees, outside vendors, authorities and customers to identify and resolve escalated problems and issues pertaining to alarm monitoring processes.

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience.

 

Qualifications

  • Two years of supervisory experience in a fast past environment
  • Experience with heavy volume of phone and/or radio calls while multi-tasking preferred.
  • Call Center or Security Industry experience preferred
  • Basic computer knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word/ Excel/Outlook)
  • Ability to Coordinate and Supervise projects related to the department
  • ‘On Call’ and weekend Coverage as needed
  • Exemplary customer service skills to deal with both internal and external customers.
  • Good written and verbal professional communication skills
  • Attention to detail.
  • Able to perform multiple functions simultaneously. For example, process alarm systems while picking up and speaking to incoming callers and listening to determine if false alarms are being called in.
