Machinist (Manual)

The decanter centrifuge machine manufacture is seeking to fill the position: Machinist (Manual).

Work Location: Liberty, Texas 77575

Non-Exempt, Full-Time

Status: a Direct Hire or a Temp employee (You are able to select)

Hourly Salary: $30.00

Experienced level: 5 years or more

Required Experience: Machining (Machine Processing), especially experienced in balancing rotating equipment

Work Hours: Monday to Thursday @7:00~18:00 (1 hour lunch time)

**Every Fridays: OFF

Start: Immediately

Main Responsibilities: (Required skill-sets-MUST to experience)

1. Mainly operating the balancing machine as a measuring tool for their maintenance process.

2. Operation of lathe/ mill.

3. Welding.

Additional Job description:

1. Disassembly the machine parts, clean, inspect, lubricate machinery.

2. Perform basic tests, check the performance of the machine.

3. Test damaged machine parts to determine whether major repairs are necessary. (Troubleshooting)

4. Change the damaged parts/ repair parts/ resolve the issues of the machine.

5. Reassembling high precision rotating equipment.

6. Test again whether the machine is operating normally.

7. Operate material handling.

8. Handling equipment and hand power tools.

9. Carry the machine at their shop by a forklift.

10. Work and communicate with their Outside Sales team to resolve customer service issues, orders and production needs.

Qualifications:

- Ability to meet deadlines and work in a team environment

- Some knowledge to read drawings for machine repair projects

- Technical and mechanical knowledge of rotating equipment

- Computer skills & Microsoft Office and other applications

- Good communication skills

- Able to work as a team.

- Report to their supervisor at maintenance shop.
