Process Technician - Plastic Injection Molding - 2nd Shift

This position is currently open for a 2nd shift, but a great candidate may have other options. We are currently investing in new machines and auxiliary equipment and looking towards the future as our customer base expands.

Job Purpose:

The Process Technician is responsible for job start-ups and troubleshooting at the direction of the shift foreman or production manager and in co-operation with Quality Control and other departments, as needed, to meet the demands of the production schedule.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Start jobs at the direction of the shift supervisor
• Respond to technical or quality concerns as needed
• Work closely with Quality Control to resolve problems
• Troubleshoot issues and solve problems with machines as they arise
• Communicate needs and issues to the shift supervisor
• Assist in training operators, as needed, at the direction of the shift supervisor
• Other duties as assigned by shift supervisor

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma, GED or 12 years formal education preferred, but not required
• 5 years experience in injection molding and troubleshooting
• Supervisory experience preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Must be able to lift 60+ pounds, climb up and down ladders and sit or stand for up to 8 hours
