Voice Teacher - SJ/Philadelphia/Main Line

We currently have openings for piano, voice and guitar teachers to provide in-home lessons. Pay starts between $34-$40, significant yearly raises are attainable through meeting clearly communicated quality standards. While the school also offers remote lessons, we are not currently looking to fill a spot for an exclusively remote teacher.

Job Description

The Paul Michael School of Music is looking for enthusiastic and talented musicians who enjoy working with children. The school provides in-home lessons, so you will need a reliable car. The school (all teachers and students) must follow CDC protocols for in-home lessons. Position includes room for growth and increase in pay. No teaching experience is necessary, we provide a paid training program as well as a supportive community that is happy to provide guidance and mentorship as you get your rhythm in this creative and fun field.

Qualifications

• Music diploma, or comparable musicianship demonstrated at interview

• Must pass a background check

• Must maintain a dependable vehicle and have a valid driver’s license

• Must be available and able to commit to teaching the entire school year

• Must enjoy working with children

• Must be reliable and professional

About

The Paul Michael School of Music provides in-home and remote music lessons in South Jersey, Philadelphia and the Main Line. Some teachers will teach in each of those areas, others will specialize in just one or two. Our approach is to provide fun but meaningful lessons that guide students toward their individual musical goals, whether they’re to play Beethoven, The Weeknd, Music from Encanto or all of the above.
