Job Position: Material Planning Coordination Lead
Location: Newark, CA (Onsite)
Duration: 3 Months Contract
Experience:
- 9-11 years
Job Description:
- High-tech manufacturing environment.
- This role is less structured as it is supporting New Product Introduction and requires constant communication with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Suppliers.
- Hard material planning to support a Manufacturing Operation including design changes, push-out/push-in, expediting, exception management etc.
- We need someone who will manage material requirements for the manufacturing operations, making sure Purchase Orders are placed and then chasing delivery/pushing out delivery/changing specs and managing vendors.
- Hard operational experience managing materials for manufacturing.
- General procurement is not sufficient would need more experience in material planning for a production environment in a manufacturing industry, preferably automobiles.
- Hands on experience managing inbound materials for manufacturing, including vendor coordination.
