Job Description
Dispatch Manager - REMOTE Position / Work From Home
AFT is seeking a Dispatch Manager to join our team! You will be responsible for overseeing the Dispatching for the OTR department. We are an extremely fast-growing company adding hundreds of trucks over the next year or more. Must be experienced in the Trucking / Transportation industries and be highly reliable.
Responsibilities:
- Submits all RC, BOL, and pod to our factoring company
- Connects with our dispatch partner to oversee the fleet's movement nationwide
- Document all broker and shipper relations
- Enforce our trucks are moved in accordance with AFT dispatch policy
- Broker check using our Factoring company
- Provide completed drivers to our dispatch partner to be run
- Request 40% of each load be loaded to the fuel cards on file
- Other various duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Must have 3+ years of experience in Dispatch Management or similar
- Must have Over-the-road / Box-truck/ Trucking experience
- Must be reliable
- Computer proficient, attention to detail, good communication skills
