Dedicate your skills and passion to young men seeking rehabilitation and sobriety.

Our trauma-informed, inpatient drug and alcohol program is seeking addictions counselors to work with young men in our private, residential school. Counselors facilitate group and individual counseling sessions, maintain caseload documentation, and serve as positive role models for our students. Additionally, candidates must demonstrate their ability to mentor and empower clients throughout the holistic, trauma-informed recovery process.

Extensive training is provided to all Drug and Alcohol Counselors to achieve proficiency in providing therapy, evaluating treatment efficacy and communicating progress updates to the clinical team.

The Academy Schools also provides the training and supervision needed to earn advanced addictions counseling certification through the Pennsylvania Certification Board.

Job Requirements

A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required in one of the following disciplines: Psychology, Sociology, Counseling, Communications, Criminal Justice, Education, Human Services and Behavior Sciences.

Individuals with athletic and/or military backgrounds will be strongly considered, as well as bilingual applicants.

Child abuse, criminal history, driver's license, FBI and medical clearances are required upon employment.
