Lakeview Village Home Health is searching for caring, dedicated, and trustworthy full-time Home Health Aides to join our team!
Lakeview Village in Lenexa, Kansas is a 5-Star not-for-profit continuing care retirement community that offers home health, sub-acute rehabilitation, and long-term care, celebrating its 60th anniversary and 5th straight year as the U.S News & World Report Best Short Stay Rehab.
The Home Health Aide at Lakeview Village will be responsible for providing personal care services according to the client’s plan of care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The home health aide will also have office responsibilities, as assigned, that may include, but not limited to, scheduling and intake.
Job Details:
- Assists with client ADLs (activities of daily living) ensuring client is clean and appropriate. Provides bathing, grooming, oral care, peri care, catheter care, ostomy care, shampooing hair, shaving and any other personal care needed. Assists with dressing. Other personal care assistance as required.
- Follow plan of care for meal planning, prepping, as well as any medical or special procedures, and emergency care as needed and/or required.
- Medication observation only. Identify and report observations concerning client’s medication.
- Provides support to the Home Health Scheduler and Home Health Intake Coordinator. (See job description for Home Health Scheduler and Home Health Intake Coordinator for specifics).
