Light Vehicle Mechanic

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our team. As an Automotive Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles. This is a full-time position located at our dealership.

Duties:

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
• Conduct automotive repairs, such as brake replacements, engine tune-ups, and suspension repairs
• Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using automotive diagnostic equipment
• Repair and replace automotive electrical systems
• Align wheels and perform wheel balancing
• Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and advancements, including ADAS systems.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance techniques
• Proficient in using power tools and automotive diagnostic equipment.
• Experience working with automotive electrical systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues.
• Knowledge of automotive diagnostics software is a plus.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or similar role
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Technical certification or degree in Automotive Technology preferred.
