Emergency Veterinary Technician

Emergency Animal Hospital of Ellicott City is expanding our hours and we are now seeking a full time or part time experienced emergency veterinary technician to join our team.

ECEAH is one of the oldest emergency animal hospitals in the community. What really sets ECEAH apart is our people and our culture. Our doctors and support staff team are collaborative, positive and dedicated to providing exceptional medical care. The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical skills, be a team player and excellent communicator. S/he will want to be an integral part of our practice as we continue growing and evolving as a practice and team.

ECEAH is open Tuesdays and Wednesdays 6pm-1am, then opens Thursdays at 6pm and stays open 24 hours until Tuesday at 1am. We treat canine and feline patients, as well as exotics! Our hospital provides emergency and general practice care to our exotic patients.

• Our hospital is primarily open nights and weekends as well as all major holidays, so the right candidate must be willing to work weekends, overnights, and holidays.
• 3-4 years experience working as a veterinary technician with experience in anesthesia and surgery.
• Emergency experience preferred but not required.
• The right candidate will possess excellent written and oral communication skills with clients and team members.
• Willingness to work with exotic patients - we will teach you everything you need to know!
