Job Description

Job Summary: This position is responsible for assisting with Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), an instrument that measures and dispenses the magnetic pulses to certain pre-mapped centers of the brain, and provide related patient care and assessments.

This is a full time position Monday through Friday hours may vary between 7am-6pm.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

· Provide superior patient care by adhering to but not limited to the following technician traits: develop trust and rapport through reflective listening, providing support and compassion to patients who are struggling with major depression.

· Engage the patient regarding their previous day. How did they sleep? How is their depression? Seeing benefits? Side effects? Administer psychiatric rating scales and counsel patients on completion of scales.

· Ensure the patient’s comfort prior to and throughout treatment (chair positioning, coil placement, treatment level intensity, and overall room comfort).

· Administer TMS therapy treatments according to physician protocols

· Manage TMS patient flow and delivery of treatment

· Train new technicians

· Ordering of supplies

· Patient charting in EHR

· Support the TMS team as needed.

· Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with a team.
