Job Summary

The Warehouse Manager oversees receiving, storage, and distribution of materials to ensure smooth operations and on-timely delivery of goods. They are responsible for managing inventory levels, on-time delivery, and coordinating with various departments to meet production demands. The Warehouse Manager plays a critical role in inventory control, customer relationships, cost management, and maximizing efficiency.

Responsibilities

Inventory Control & Order Management:

• Review all incoming finished goods orders for assigned product lines and take appropriate action to supply customers in a timely manner. Allocate material to the correct orders for shipment and production.
• Maintain accurate inventory, conduct regular audits to reconcile inventory records and identify discrepancies or obsolete items for disposal.
• Leads annual physical inventory count.
• Manage consignment orders and associated materials.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain to maintain appropriate safety stock levels.

Logistics and Distribution:

• Coordinate with logistic providers to arrange transportation and delivery schedules to achieve OTD.
• Deliver inhouse material to production areas on time.
• Optimize logistics routes and warehouse layout to streamline operations and reduce costs.
• Monitor the efficiency of distribution channels and implement improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and reduce lead times.
• Manages the daily expedite process of customer orders.
• Analyze past due orders and take appropriate actions.
• Responsible for freight costs.

Compliance and Risk Management:

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and policies governing materials management activities, such as safety regulations, import/export laws, and environmental regulations.

Team Leadership and Development:

• Lead a team of inventory clerks, shipping/receiving, pick/pack, and warehouse personnel by providing guidance, support, and training to ensure high performance and professional growth.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning.
• Other:
• Review and maintain relevant ERP master data.
• Responsible for metrics reporting and attainment.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BA), Supply Chain or Operations Management preferred.
• Prior direct management experience of inventory control and/or distribution team members.
• Certified Production & Inventory Management (CPIM) preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software and have demonstrated mastery of Excel required.
• General knowledge of reporting and query writing highly preferred.
• Strong data analysis, problem solving skills and mathematical ability required.
• Process analyzation and optimization skills.
• Experience in leading optimization projects.
