TRL Systems, a family-owned leader in fire life safety and security, is searching for a passionate Fire Alarm Technician to join our growing team!

In this critical role, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safety of our communities. You'll be part of a crew in installing essential fire alarm systems in various buildings, ensuring they function flawlessly in case of an emergency.

Here's what you'll do:

• Lead by Example: Guide and mentor your crew, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Technical Expertise: Install a variety of fire alarm devices like smoke detectors, horn strobes, and pull stations, ensuring adherence to code and safety standards.
• Wiring Wizard: Run fire alarm cable efficiently and safely according to project plans.
• Construction Know-How: Perform light construction tasks as needed to support the installation process.
• Project Management: Update service tickets, track project progress, and ensure timely completion within budget.
• Material Master: Gather all the necessary materials and equipment before heading to the job site.

To thrive in this role, you'll need:

• Proven Experience: 3+ years of experience installing fire life safety systems.
• Leadership Qualities: 1+ year of experience leading a team and fostering a positive work environment.
• Education: High school diploma (or equivalent).
• Valid Driver's License: Valid California Driver's License and proof of auto insurance.
• Flexibility: Ability to work weekends and overtime (if needed).

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

• This is a physically demanding role requiring activities such as driving for extended periods, walking, bending, stooping, lifting equipment (50+ lbs), and working at various heights.
