InLine: Structure/Foundation Construction Foreman Position
Position Summary: InLine seeks an experienced Structure/Foundation Construction Foreman to lead our specialized crew. This leadership role is critical in managing operations and ensuring the successful installation of foundations and structures for traffic signals, roadway lighting, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), and signage. The Foreman will oversee the use of heavy equipment including Boom Trucks, Cranes, Lo-Drills, Pressure Diggers, Digger Derricks, Excavators, Backhoes, Skid Steers, Dump Trucks, and Equipment Haulers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Direct and supervise the installation of structures and foundations supporting ITS, roadway lighting, and traffic signal construction and maintenance.
- Oversee the transportation and secure handling of equipment and materials to and from job sites.
- Ensure the safety and security of the job site, equipment, and materials each day.
- Manage the installation of Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) as required by project specifications, road conditions, and DOT standards.
- Maintain high safety standards to ensure the well-being of all crew members and the safe operation of all equipment.
- Process and manage essential documentation, including vehicle logs, driver logs, credit card receipts, and daily job reports.
- Interpret and execute project specifications and plans effectively.
- Facilitate clear and effective communication both verbally and in written form with team members and management.
Work Experience and Requirements:
- Proven ability to safely and productively operate a variety of heavy equipment.
- Extensive knowledge of construction methods for structures and foundations.
- Experience in maintaining positive relationships within a team and managing crews in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with underground utility location and construction techniques.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in supervising structure and foundation construction at the foreman level or higher.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in operating heavy equipment relevant to the job.
- Possession of a Class A Commercial Driver’s License with Air Brakes and Tanker Endorsements is required.
- Must pass pre-employment and ongoing random drug tests.
- Frequent travel is required.
- Must be capable of working in various outdoor conditions, including extreme weather.
Schedule:
- 8-10-hour shifts, Monday to Friday
