Sports Center Attendant

Winchester Country Club is a classic New England Country Club has been providing an exceptional experience for its members and guests for over 120 years. The Sports Center provides fitness equipment, group fitness classes, personal training, as well as indoor golf simulators. The Sports Center’s Pro shop provides hard and soft goods for all our racquet sports.

WCC currently has an opening for a part-time Staff Member in our Sports Center. We are looking for a positive, upbeat individual with an interest in sports such as Golf and Tennis.

Responsibilities:

• Greet members/guests as they enter and exit the club; assisting them with any questions or concerns as they check in.
• Resolve member concerns and escalate to a Manager as needed.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with their inquiries.
• Perform membership related functions such as sign-ups, contact/billing information updates, cancellations & reservations.
• Regular, consistent cleaning and sanitizing of all exercise equipment and amenities. This includes communal spaces as well as your assigned area.
• Ensuring restrooms are clutter free and stocked.
• Frequently perform a comprehensive walk of all Sports center areas; quickly fix any safety/policy issues and address cleanliness concerns.
• Promptly address maintenance and facility concerns such as broken and/or missing equipment with Maintenance team (i.e., Dispensers, leaky faucets, fixtures etc.)

• Work with Point-of-Sale system.

Requirements:

• Must be self-starter and able to work independently.
• Year-round/part-time position, approximately 18-30 hours per week.
  • Must be available for Weekend and Weekday shifts
• Basic computer knowledge, Microsoft word/excel, POS experience.
• Golf knowledge and interest in fitness a plus
