Title: Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Responsibilities:
- Physical health assessments
- Mental health assessments
- Psychotherapy
- Designing treatment plans
- Prescribing psycho-pharmaceuticals and medication
- Working with patients and families to explain treatment plans
- Educating communities on mental health
- Help adjust medication and treatment for patients
- Learn about new medicines and treatment options for mental health
Requirements:
- Masters of Science in Nursing, with a Psychiatric/Mental Health emphasis, from an accredited college or university.
- AHA BLS, AHA ACLS certifications
- 2 years of experience
Education:
- Masters of Science in Nursing, with a Psychiatric/Mental Health emphasis, from an accredited college or university.
